LAPTOP SOUND CARD NOT WORKING ! WHAT CAN WORK FOR YOU

As i  am an emerging youtuber and my youtube content is on education videos. My all videos are prepared, recorded and synthesized on laptop. The voice is very much important criteria in my videos as it is an educational channel and good quality of sound in the video cannot be neglected.

One day, I opened my laptop for my Youtube video recording and started using it. I used it for an hour without any problem. As i am a small youtuber and make educational videos on my laptop using MS Powerpoint. I opened my previously compiled video to check for any errors, i came to know that my speaker was not giving output and my speaker icon which is present in the top right bottom corner is missing.

As i am fond of technology and my eagerness to solve problems myself didn't bothered me. So, I started searching on Google and youtube for solutions to bring my speaker icon back and get my speakers on work again. One by one i started practical on theories provided on google to solve my speaker problem, but all went in vain. I even formatted my PC and upgraded to Windows 10 OS but still my speakers were dead.

Now, After one week of efforts and research i realised that it's not a software issue and my Sound card which is integrated to Motherboard of the Laptop has given up. Now, as i am a frequent uploader of youtube videos on maths solutions and my Youtube channel was also going well and three subscribers per day were joining everyday, i could not have given up to upload videos. Neither, i was in position to purchase a New Desktop or laptop or get it repaired due to lockdown due to COVID pandemic.

I started searching for External USB sound card which can work on my laptop. Before my sound card failure i used to record my voice with internal mic. The problem in using external sound card is that you have to use your external mic and speakers too. Internal Mic and Speaker won't work if you use external sound card. However, I had Boya microphone for recording and external Intex speakers. Therefore, I ordered for External Sound Card from online store. The cost of External sound card on online websites may be two to three times more than any other local computer shops. Any how, i purchased it as my youtube channel was suffering.

I received my first external sound card and started using it. The external sound card was of Quantum make QHMPL and had two 3.5 mm jack one to connect microphone and other to connect speakers. I used the sound card and was satisfied with the performance, though it looked very delicate. So, this external card was now helping me to record my voice on to the video which i was preparing on laptop. Few day later, i purchased another External sound card under the thought that my earlier External Sound card may give up. Therefore, I purchased Terabyte External sound card as standby to my Quantum Sound card. This was much cheaper than Quantum, but the performance quality was same.

So, If you are on the same ship of mine and can't afford to get new PC or laptop and want to record and listen to your laptop. You can purchase cheap External sound card and if you are not so hard and fast Professional, you can use it. The quality of sound will be good and satisfactory. Further, try to purchase by visiting to the computer store physically as the online price may be higher than actual price.
